48: D&D&D

For Ludum Dare 48, my goal was to learn the Godot Engine. Over the course of the 72-hour jam, I achieved basic proficiency with the engine and was able to successfully produce a game with my collaborator. The game we produced was a simple, top-down arcade shooter.

Theme: Deeper & Deeper

ludum-dare's Issues

LD40: Controls are not disabled after player death by ghost.

"...for a short period of time, I can still move/complete a level after I’m killed by ghost."

LD40: Collisions with ground are buggy.

"...the hit boxes on the platforms were a little buggy and I fell through the level a couple of times."

LD40: Cannot face or attack to the right.

Players seem to want to do this. So, let's make the people happy.

LD40: Make more interesting levels.

LD40: Players can ride on monsters.

Currently, players who land on top of monsters can float along with them. I think that I should add a "squash" mechanic to the game like in Mario
