Update for Node v18

Hi Laurence! We haven't met, but I'm the new Sr. Front End Engineer on the 4DN and CGAP teams at HMS (Alex Balashov, who you might remember, departed the lab late last year). Do you have any plans to release an update for the next version of Node, given that Node v16 is reaching end of life in a few months? I'm not entirely sure what, if any, updates to this repo will be necessary, but I do remember that we required an update to this package the last time we upgraded Node versions, so wanted to check.

I've also spoken with Ben from ENCODE; he mentioned that you probably won't be doing much maintenance on this project moving forward. I'm in the process of trying to get in touch with other people who use it, so we can collaboratively maintain a fork for continued use in our upcoming projects.
