The project was developed during a Hackathon at the MundiPagg. 3rd place in the Hackathon 🥉

Virtualoja is an app for a payment experience using Augmented Reality, where the user can make purchases in establishments adapted for the Virtualoja System.

Interaction with features (buttons, QR codes, etc.) is done with Gaze Interaction.

Experience steps:

• User looks at the Check-in QR Code located at the entrance of the Store. A welcome message from the Establishment appears, user interacts with the button to confirm check-in.
• User looks at the QR Code of the product they want to add to their cart. Popup for quantity selection appears, user interacts and confirms quantity.
• User looks at the Checkout QR Code located at the exit of the Store. Popup with purchase details, card selection and payment confirmation appears for finalization and release for store exit.

The future idea is to be able to map user intentions and choices to optimize the payment experience. It can also direct specific content to each user using glasses. We intend to use Augmented Reality glasses technology, including exploring new inputs for interaction. Like, for example, buttons located next to the glasses.
