My Movies

Single-page application that allows you to view currently popular movies and a brief description of each..

For presenting the movies, The Movie Database (TMDB) API was used, but this app is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Read more here.

  • Node 20.11.1
  • React 18.3.1
  • React-Router 6.24.0

How to run

  • Git clone
  • Run "npm install"
  • In the ‘api’ folder, inside ‘src’, create an ‘ApiAuth.tsx’ file.
  • Copy the content from ApiAuth_example.tsx and paste it into ApiAuth.tsx.
  • Set the api key for the TMDB API in ApiAuth.tsx.
  • Run "npm run dev"
