Hoverable airships sometimes lose input (easy workaround for now) (1.16?)

Sometimes, when piloting a ship that hovers (anything but the biplane), the ship will just stop moving and hover, and will not move forward until the player unpresses and represses W and a few seconds pass. This can be skipped by hitting spacebar, which will ascend the ship slightly and allow movement again immediately. It happens more frequently when moving forward for a while, so it may be an issue with loading chunks causing the inputs to reset?

Gyrodines stop working

For some odd reason, when I was playing Immersive aircrafts on my modpack(made in the curse forge app) and when I loaded in some chunks the gyrodine I was flying stopped working. I tried spawning in another, but that similarly failed. From what I've tested, it only is like this for the gyrodine. I was playing on fabric version 0.14.17 for Minecraft version 1.18.2. No idea if this is a bug or a mod acting weird.

transport problems on the server

When the player gets out of the vehicle, the server crashes. I am playing minecraft Forge 1.20.1 - 47.1.37. Version of mod [Forge 1.20.1] Immersive Aircraft - 0.5.1. The error was repeated every time I exit.

Can't fly on latest version

This is not just a repeat of #30 although I suspect there's a binding issue.
I can turn but I can't start flying.
I'm on 1.19.3 using version 0.4.1 of the mod.

GL ERROR 65539: Invalid key -1

As of the latest update, whenever I'm inside of an aircraft, my log is spammed with the provided error. Full error is:

Wouldn't surprise me if it's a conflict, but this wasn't happening on the prior version as far as I noticed.

(Possibly intentional?) (1.16) gyrocopter breaks instantly when hitting half slabs during startup sequence

I've run the copter into full blocks while giving it enough motor power and it's been fine, but while I was leaving a sky village my copter hit a half slab on the bridge and broke instantly. This may be intentional but doesn't feel like it unless the real bug is not breaking when hitting full blocks. It could go either way, since the gyrocopter still gains power while "moving" against a solid wall. Will get more info shortly.

transport problems on the server

when we play on a server and at one moment more than 1 person is flying, then the whole transport stalls and does not start. version 1.16.5 0.4.4

1.16.5 recipes broken

Some recipes on 1.16.5 are broken due to their use of the Copper Ingot (minecraft:copper_ingot) item which was added later. Currently, 3 recipes are affected: Sturdy Pipes (immersive_aircraft:sturdy_pipes), Industrial Gears (immersive_aircraft:industrial_gears), and Enhanced Propeller (immersive_aircraft:enhanced_propeller). The only affected versions are pre-1.17 versions.

Using bucket-based fuels deletes bucket

Putting fuels contained within a bucket into an aircraft will consume the entire item, rather than leaving behind an empty bucket in the fuel slot. Currently only applies to the Lava Bucket as only vanilla fuel sources seem to be usable right now, but if that changes in the future I imagine the issue will also carry over to modded fluids.

Strange Server Issue [1.18.2]

When I attempt to join a server with this mod installed, I get this error
Optifine is installed on client but this might be a mod incompatibility since this didn't happen until recently, I just cannot find the mod that's causing this

Origins Mod Compatibility Issues

Not sure how this is configured in the mod, but you've gotta make it so that you align the player based on eye location, because the Origin mod adjusts the player height. When using Origins mod and being a larger character, it spawns you above the aircraft, when you're a smaller character it spawns you below the aircraft / in the ground.

Sword attacks in an airship accelerates it

Attacking with a sword while in the airship accelerates it, and when spammed the ship can reach 100+ blocks per second. This doesn't seem to work with items or other tools (like axes) and the attack doesn't need to be knockback attacks to accelerate the ship.

From what I can observe each sword attack accelerates the airship by about 10m/s and spamming left click can stack the acceleration up.

I'm on Version 0.2.1 and I haven't tried replicating it in 0.3.0 or with other vehicles, like biplanes. I will update this when I find anything else worth noting.

Rightclicking while in a balloon airship causes bizarre "dismount" glitch (1.16.5)

Rightclicking in a balloon airship in 1.16.5 causes the player to "dismount" the airship, leaving them unable to re-enter or control the vehicle. However, they seem to still be considered as inside the craft, unable to break blocks or interact at all except right by the machine. doing a /kill on the craft makes the player actually dismount, even moving the player back to the ship as it breaks. I have confirmed this happens with no other mods installed save for JEI. Not tested in newer Minecraft versions, but it has been in the 1.16 mod for more than one update.

Unable to move because of update

Hi,
Because of the new 0.4.1 update for Fabric, now keybinds need to be reset because otherwise they override the vanilla movement keys, making you unable to move. The only way to "fix" this is to use other keys, which is really uncomfortable considering that a heavily modded modpack has its limits. Why were they not overriding before, but now all of a sudden they are? I would like to be able to use, once again, the vanilla keys for movement and ease of use. Please, let me know if there's a config I can use.

Duplication Using Aircraft Inventory

Found on Forge 1.19.2

Steps to reproduce:
Place items in plane (fuel and inventory) fly to some height then begin flying towards floor at sufficient speed to destroy the plane on collision, before collision open inventory and stay on inventory screen during crash. Inventory screen persists, allowing player to remove the items from the inventory and collect the items dropped by plane from crash.

Expected outcome:
Plane drops inventory and inventory menu closes

Actual outcome:
Inventory screen persists after a crash and after items dropped from crash.

Fabric 1.19.2 - 0.2.0 (Mod Incompatability with Keymap) Overriding keybind settings

Hello! I appreciate all your work with this mod. Something in the latest update is messing up keybinds when used with the fabric mod Keymap https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/keymap

For example, I have Iris Shaders. I un-bound "toggle shaders" from my K, but with this mod if I press K it toggles the shaders.
For Simple Voice Chat, I un-bound "Groups" from G and assigned it to another key, but pressing G brings up the group GUI.

And when I use R to dismount from an aircraft, it reloads my shaders, despite R being only set to dismount and Combat Roll.

Doing a test with only Immersive Aircraft had all the key settings working properly.
And the test with Keymap active and IA disabled had all the key settings working properly as well.
Rolling IA back to 0.1.1 fixed the issue, letting keybinds work properly again.

Camera and keybind reset

I'm using this mod version 0.3.0 in a server and everytime I log in after closing + opening the game, the keybind for going down resets (I use Left Control and it resets back to Left Shift which is the default I believe)
Also the camera resets to 3rd person view, I use 1st person view

This wasn't happening on previous versions

Banners not working on Airships in multiplayer

When trying to equip the banner on an airship :

  • It appears for the player who places the banner
  • It doesn't appear for the other players
  • If the player who equipped leaves and goes back in the airship, the banner isn't here anymore and is back in the player's inventory

[1.16.5] Fuel Mechanic?

Using: [[Forge 1.16.5] Immersive Aircraft - 0.3.2]

Hi! You might remember me from the immersive-armor mod, where we helped each-other fixing the bugs the mod had xD.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could add a fuel mechanic (I'm not sure since I've tested only 1.16.5, but I think the feature is already implemented in the newer versions of minecraft) in order to help balancing this vehicles. Without fuel, they seems a bit broken/abusable, since they easily overcome every other way of transportation. I love them, and atm im working on a new modpack around RPG, so this mod would fit perfectly into it!

[Feature Request] Configurable aircraft fuel source list

The newly added fuel features are a great improvement, but right now it seems to only accept vanilla fuels. Changing this to accept all furnace fuels (like modded furnaces and generators do) would be a simple and good solution, but it would be fantastic for modpack balancing if you could (perhaps optionally?) set a custom list of fuels for the vehicles to accept.

Biplane gets to max speed after exiting vehicle

I haven't been able to get this bug consistently, nor find a proper way to replicate it, but I'll keep playing with it and report back if I find something.

Sometimes, after flying for a while with the biplane, decelerating it until 0% and landing it normally, even waiting until it is completely stopped, the biplane seems to go back to 100% speed and will fly into the distance.

It may also fly in a different direction than where it was pointing to when landing. For example, if I'm flying facing north, and do a 180º turn and face south during the landing (in order to keep it in the proper direction to take off later), it might turn and fly north, indicating maybe some sort of delay saving or updating the direction/speed?

GUI issues / compatibilities - 1.20.1

Incompatible icon placement when TAN is installed:

When JEI is installed, the chest placements (guis to put items) are not the greatest, making them make jei wrap around would be best

Plane flies away upon exiting

The plane has a bad habit of receiving some "phantom" push when you exit it which can cause it to go flying off on it's own.

Crash while flying Gyrodine *with full hunger

So I am playing the Create Re-Flavored modpack on Forge for Minecraft 1.19.2 and I am unable to play my survival world because of a crash that I believe was caused by this mod.

I was flying in a Gyrodine with no modifications over the jungle/desert and that's when my game froze for 10 minutes, then completely crashed with a Minecraft exit code -1. Before this I had been flying the same aircraft just fine, with no issues, through multiple takeoffs and landings. My hunger bar at the time of the crash was full, I checked. Every time I try to reload my world, though, there's the message at the bottom of the screen saying my fuel is too low, despite the hunger bar still being full. I am not able to control my game at all from this point, and anything besides the aircraft, my player model and whatever I'm wearing, and my Inventory HUD GUI are missing. I exist in an empty skybox, frozen in place, unable to interact with the Minecraft window. It takes less than 5 minutes for my game to crash after this, with the same exit code as before.

Below are all the crash reports from my attempts to get the game working again. Last one I added a texture pack and associated data pack that change the textures and recipes of Immersive Aircraft to work better with Create, and the texture did actually display on my Gyrodine, so this cleary isn't a texture loading issue, and doesn't seem to actually be about loading the Gyrodine model, at least, not alone. I'd hoped maybe I could break the loop this way. I did back up my world before the last crash, but not the others, not since 7/2/23.

network timeout when flying biplane

Hello,

I get a network timeout shortly after flying the biplane. It seems to take about half a minute, but sometimes occurs almost immediately. It does not occur when I pilot the gyrodyne. There doesn't seem to be a specific error message on the server or client.

All vehicles unresponsive.

Everything was working fine this morning, then for no apparent reason I am unable to dismount any vehicle all i can do is turn left and right. I have to have another player break the vehicle to free me. happens with all 4 vehicles. Unable to ascend as well. I tried changing the key binds. No joy. i've tried deleting my player data from the server, I also tried removing and re adding the mod. Unsure of what to do next.

cant craft

Hi, probably easy question here. Just started playing my server with a friend, its also my first modded server. I try to craft any of the items and nothing happens. Am I missing something? perhaps a setting per player or the server? Yes the mods and us are running the same version as t he server i.e. 1.19.2. we also have simple planes, citadel, and journey map installed

an abnormal drop bug of Quadricioter in 1.19.2, frabic

I download immersive_aircraft-0.3.0+1.19.2-fabric in my computer and met a strange bug:
Everytime I destroy Quadrocopter it will drop Gyrodyne rather than Quadrocopter, both in creative and survival mode. I tried to disabled all others mods except fabric-api-0.72.0+1.19.2 which is indispensable fo this mod. And it turns to the same result. So I think it is a bug.
My game version is 1.19.2 and I install fabric 0.14.12 to manage mods. English is not my mother tongue. Please forgive potential grammar and spelling errors

engine dont start anymore and i cant dismount from the airship, (the keybindings are all set good) the engine is just off

Keybinds broken after update

Keybindings issue on 1.19.2, cant use movement keybinds. Doesn't work with wasd, or stops me from being able to move outside of.
