How to install ?

$ git clone https://github.com/Lunik/Instant-share
$ bower install

Upload Instant-Share to your favorite hosting plan. That's all :)

How to share a file ?

Simply drop it into the page and the browser will seed your file. Share the link with your friend and the download begin. It use WebTorrent protocol so everything is very fast !

How to stop sharing a file ?

Until every browser file of all your friends are not closed, the file can still be downloaded even if the first seeder is gone.

Is it compatible with other WebTorrent apps ?

With this apps you can download from any platform which run WebTorrent protocol. Like Instant.io or WebTorrent Desktop.

instant-share's Issues

noPeers event destroys torrent to fast when no connection with trackers

For some reason, connection to the trackers won't work in my setup. Firefox console returns
The connection to wss://<tracker>/was interrupted while the page was loading.
So webTorrent only has its DHT to share peers through.
The noPeers event destroys the torrent too soon.

Implement VueJS

Use the VueJS module to optimise Dom content modification.
