nextRight = mReferenceView.getLeft() - mRequestedVerticalSpacing;

you should judge the mReferenceView if is null.
if (mReferenceView != null) {
nextRight = mReferenceView.getLeft() - mRequestedVerticalSpacing;
}
and it works well.

I use universal image loader to load image from net, and every item contains an imageView.
Everytime I setadapter to HGridView, like the first one is seleted and then the 3rd item's image is the same image as 1st one, which actually not. If you chosed 3rd one, the 5th would be the same one. very strange.
