Don't work since MiFit update

Hi,
This app don't work anymore since update to "MiFit" app (1.4.XXX).

FYI, MiFit now allow sync with Google Fit :-) Less work for you...

UUID_CHARACTERISTIC_CONTROL_POINT is ineffective

I've tried vibrate() and setColor(), but it didn't work.
It seems like UUID_CHARACTERISTIC_CONTROL_POINT is ineffective.

test on i9505 cm12

Hi lwis,
I've uploaded your last release on my i9505 cm12, with debug mode I see on setupBluetooth() array pairedDevices not containing miband devices so app can't connect with it.
I've mifit original app running correctly on background.

It is great that your app is hitting google play store. Can you develop wider range of vibration duration setting?

If you have time please try the twisted miband app with notify that one has a more user-friendly setting options. What would be good is that the vibration can be set to be felt the difference in duration. So with some notification like hourly time notify, I don't have check the led to tell what it is for. Right now, I need always to check the lights because it only vibrate either twice or 4 times(among four settings) and the duration setting range is not wide enough to be able to tell the difference from long to short.

Please support android 4.4.4, because that is what Mi mobiles are using with MIUI. Millions of Chinese fans are asking in the Xiaomi Chinese bbs to be able to use your app. But they cannot since using the android 4.4.4 .

Your app could easily hit millions on google store if you can get things right because Mi band is the second best-selling smart band around the world and your app just made the tiger fly. Because for some reason, Xiaomi chose not to be open minded with their official app. Eventually this could be a good app with a price less than 2 dollars in the store, I would buy it.

add first time connection (unpaired device)

Hi,
if I want to connect mi band the first time without pair it with original mifit app do you know if there is a way? If we add this feature this app can be run standalone without original app.
If you have any suggestions about code, or any other info about how original pairing works in original app please let me know.

Trying to launch the app open tasker

here when i try to open the app, it just open tasker.
if tasker isn't installed it close the activty automatically...

flash duration time

If I set a duration of flash (led) does it works?
Can I turn on led on mi band for 10 seconds or 10 minutes for example (always on) or miband has a maximum timeout after that it turn off automatically led?

App crash with newest firmware : 1.0.9.55

A new firmware bas been released (see Mi forum). App seems to crash whenever you try to use notification (je. Test vibration). App version that update firmware : 1.4.614

So I upgraded and notifier doesn't work anyway, and unfortunatly there's noway to downgrade :(

Purpose of this app?

Hi, I am happy to see that there seems to be some development going on for the miband!

However I cannot seem to understand the purpose of this app here. The readme states that the original xiaomi app needs to be installed in order to use this app. So in what way does it enhance the miband experience? Maybe this could be stated in the readme as well :)

Is the collected data still sent to xiaomi via the original app? I am actually looking for a way to use the miband offline without exposing my data to any company.

Update APK XML Manifest

Update .apk xml manifest to reflect version changes from releases page because it always shows v1.0 once installed.

[request] Precise color editing (RGB/Hex)

Personally I think that the app will truly shine with the ability to edit colors precisely with either RGB or Hex color codes, for the people who really want their notification colors to be pixel perfect.

App crashes after adding an app to the list.

On release version whole app crashes instantly after pressing done button when confirming adding app to the list. When I try to open app again it still crashes. But that problem only exist on release version, debug works fine.

I'm using app on Nexus 4 with custom rom.

Vibration on nexus 4

Hello!

I'm testing your app in my Nexus 4. The color of the band changes, but when I click on vibration test, debug console said "Write successful", but my band didn't vibrate.

I'm newby in reverse engineering on Android. I'm trying to extract the sequence of bytes to start the motor vibration. I found the COMMAND_STOP_VIBRATE, but I missed the command to start vibrate. I'm working of this, but, where did you find [8, 2] sequence to start vibrate?

Mi band is not vibrating

When i install your app and click on vibrate button my mi band is not vibrating, I have paired with my mi band with default app.

Can you explain a bit more about tasker integration?

Can you explain a bit more about tasker integration? Is it possible to have the 3 led light showing 3 different color at the same time ? Can you choose which light to shine along?

Latest firmware breaks vibration with this app

Firmware update today 10.0.10.14 breaks vibration, LED still works.

mi band 1s support

I know there have been issues with recent firmware images, but I thought I would add an issue to tract progress for this new device.

Also relevant may be work that Gadgetbridge has done on this: Freeyourgadget/Gadgetbridge#226

Also, I do not have one of these devices to test against.

Any one got any idea of how to get full data from device?

inconsistent lighting

Most of the time when I get notifications from my email client the band vibrates and blinks as expected, however sometimes I just get vibrations. Let me know what kind of logging or information will help to debug this issue; I am familiar with android logging, but not bluetooth logging.

Does not work with latest updates

It appears the app does not work in conjunction with the latest mi band app update. I believe the firmware was also updated which could have caused it to break.

Notification until midnight does not work correctly

I am using 24H time notation and i want my notification from 08:00 until 24:00 (0:00).
The app only allows 12H time notation and the correct setting for 24:00 or 0:00 would be 12 a.m,
but when i set my notification from 8 a.m. until 12 a.m (tested with p.m, too) i dont get any notification for that application. Only work around for now is setting up until 11:59 p.m.

I mi band works for call notification, find band every other notification, except app notification.
I am using mi fir 1.18.111 and moto x play phone. Can anybody help with this issue

Tasker plugin doesnt affect LEDs

First of all, thank you so much for this awesome work. Your plugin is probably the main reason I decided to purchased it. I'm running your app on my D855 LG G3 which runs lollipop 5.0.0 currently (v20h). Though when I set app notifications in the app itself the LEDs are working fine, in the Tasker module the LEDs doesnt turn on at all. Tried different colors+ reboot, but it didnt help. Thanks!
