Thanks for sharing this code. I'm using it in an ionic 3 application with tabs. If I press play on the file and navigates away from the playing tab, I cannot get back to that tab again. My console doesn't show any errors. Have you tried using this code in a tab application?

Great project! The only problem I'm encountering is the background mode to work for ios. The cordova plugin background mode is not working for some reason (xCode rejects it) , but I was wondering if there is another way to solve "THREAD WARNING: ['Media'] took '47.539062' ms. Plugin should use a background thread."? Thank you in advance!
