Just a bunch of my dotfiles.

Requirements

• make
  • Arch Linux
    • sudo pacman -S base-devel
  • Debian / Ubuntu
    • sudo apt-get install build-essential
• git
  • Arch Linux
    • sudo pacman -S git
      • It's in extra repo, you need to uncomment the part in the /etc/pacman.conf
  • Debian / Ubuntu
    • sudo apt-get install git
• vim
  • Arch Linux
    • sudo pacman -S vim
  • Debian / Ubuntu
    • sudo apt-get install vim

Usage

Make sure you have git installed and the network connection is fine.

Install

1. git clone https://github.com/M157q/dotfiles.git
2. cd dotfiles
3. make install

Update

1. cd into dotfiles dir.
2. git pull
3. make update

Uninstall

1. cd into dotfiles dir.
2. make clean
3. rm -rf dotfiles dir.

dotfiles's Issues

Also make command is a dependency.

First I have to say your dotfile project is really inspiring and helpful. I tried to create a similar one, however I found that you have to run apt-get install build-essential to get make command installed if you are under a Debian distribution. So you need to update your README.md to include this requirement. :)
