The CodeClause URL Shortener is a simple web application that allows users to create custom shortened URLs using the Shrtcode API. The primary purpose is to provide a quick and convenient way to generate shortened links for easier sharing.

Functionality

• URL Shortening: Enter a long URL in the provided input field and click the "Compress the link" button to generate a shortened URL.
• Copy to Clipboard: After generating a shortened URL, click the "Copy link" button to copy the shortened URL to the clipboard.

Execution

The project utilizes an inline JavaScript script within an HTML file to execute the necessary functions. The JavaScript code interacts with the Shrtcode API to perform the URL shortening.

Usage

1. Open the index.html file in a web browser.
2. Enter a long URL in the input field.
3. Click the "Compress the link" button to generate a shortened URL.
