Issue Description:
When backspace is hit multiple times to clear the search field, as the last character is cleared (making the field empty) instead of not making a fetch request, all the songs are fetched i.e. 'null' is sent as query parameter.

Expected behavior:

• However the characters are cleared, there must be no request sent for an empty search field.

Current behavior:

• When backspace is hit repeatedly in quick succession all items are listed.

Steps to replicate bug:

1. Type n characters into the search field.
2. Hit backspace n times in quick succession.
3. Example : type "ab" and hit backspace twice.
