Can't open files

Every time I try to open an existing vbs file the application crashes
Edit:
I just accidentally opened a HUGE file. it works awesome with smaller files.

it cant open

it said: VbsToExe Portable cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue.(ERROR:App\Vbs_To_Exe_(x64).exe could not be found)

Questions

I have two questions,

  1. why does a black CMD window always open as well?
  2. what is the point of embedding files if it does not add them? Or they are generally not usable.
