Till we figure out a fix with TEX class. I'm gonna have it fallback to the old low res textures when it detects this problem.

Two things were wrong.
One Bgra5551 appears to be wrong? At least when you just give the texture data to Texture2D it displays it wrong. I cannot even use savepng to get what it's doing.
Second thing was my scaling formula was wrong so what looked like garbage was just a incorrectly blown up image with the wrong colors. :P

So vincent tim had a function to manually convert the 16bit color to RGBA though the A is always 255. I ported that over and the colors are corrected.

Might be another colorspace that would work? I donno.
