MAL Dubs is a userscript which labels over 4800 English dubbed titles on MyAnimeList.net and adds a Dubbed filter to search, seasonal, company and top anime pages.

Whether you choose dubs so you can multitask while watching, rely on them for your accessibility needs, or simply enjoy the immersive experience of hearing a performance in the language you speak, navigating MyAnimeList to find English-dubbed anime can be a challenge. This userscript fixes that.

Instructions

Step 1: Install the Tampermonkey Script Manager extension

Available for Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera or Edge

Big Huge Thank you for making this project.

Hey, i don't have an issue or anything but i just wanna say huge thank you for making this project, I'm an addon developer working on an anime addon and we are using anilist as our database but there was not way to filter dubs, Your project provided what we were looking for and we used your list of Mal Dubs. It works perfectly and im so happy i found this project. You guys are the best and you guys are the only project i know that provides dubs.

There are some fandubbed episodes on Youtube, but there is no official English dub.

Bug: No dub labels on "Plan to Watch" page

Currently dub labeling isn't added to the plan to watch page: e.g. https://myanimelist.net/animelist/MysticalMagic?status=6

Describe the solution you'd like
I'm not sure how to implement it, personally I'd like it to be a dub text label but it might make things pretty long considering that page adds a "watch episode video" icon.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I don't know if consistency matters but maybe it should be added to other pages like on-hold/dropped but I personally don't care too much for them.

[BUG] Old Dub text labeling is no longer an option

Describe the bug

In the last few days it is no longer able to have Dub text labels even when switching styles and all it does is change colours of the D>>> Label.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Switch styles.

Expected behavior
Style is switched with the old text based Dub label.

The first special episode is dubbed. I may be mistaken but I couldn't seem to find one for the 2nd ep.

[BUG] Dub text labels show Dub but with black background for shows with no dub

Describe the bug
For shows with no dub it shill shows the dub text label but with black background. #11 didn't seem to get fixed fully.
