Hi, I'm Michael Carpenter!

I'm a software developer, tinkerer, maker, gearhead, lifetime learner and all around nerd. I code for work and for fun, with a focus on making my own life and the lives of those around me easier by creating tooling and utilities for automation. I also like playing with computers, video games, electronics, automobiles, any and all combinations thereof.

My latest project is building a CMS from the ground up, it is located at: dev.mikesshop.net. It is intended to be a project for learning ReactJS, NextJS, and Javascript in general. Additionaly this project is helping me polish my python skills, as it has a python API backend for the ReactJS frontend.
