Binance API response converter

Description

Convert from coin price data to Binance API response format:

Supported chart type

• H1
• H4
• D1

Installation

Prerequisites:

• Node.js version 18
• Redis server is running locally with port 6379

Steps:

1. Cloning the source code
2. Run npm i
3. Run npm run dev to serve the web server locally. The server will listen on port 3000

API Request

There is 1 API to retrieve hotel data: GET /price. This API accept following parameters

• chart: Chart type - ex: chart=d1

Optimization 🚀

• For faster reading, I utilize Redis for caching data, resulting in a reduction of 200 times in read times (on my local machine).

Initialization

1. At the beginning, running npm run migration
2. When it is finished, start running project: npm run dev

Data flow

1. Init MongoDB Client and check the last read index data in h1.json whether or not has old data.

2. If already had old data, we query from chartLogs start at lastReadIdx that we saved before.

3. If there are new data after lastReadIdx, we start update new data to h1, h4, d1, m1, m5, m15 json files.

4. Start setInterval to read new data (from new lastReadIdx) every 2s and update to json files.

Constraints

1. Can init 10^6 with chart logs records only.
