AdminSetPassword for MantisBT

This plugin for MantisBT allows administrators to set a new password directly on the Edit User page.

Requirements

Works with MantisBT 2.*. Tested with MantisBT 2.22.0

WARNING: limited 2.x support

This plugin is actually not 100% compatible with MantisBT 2.x, and in its current state will only work properly in instances where Content Security Policy is either disabled or customized to allow inline scripts, which is not recommended by the MantisBT team for obvious security reasons.

Fixing this issue is a work in progress, but currently stalled due to lack of availability of the plugin's maintainer. Please refer to PR #2 for further details. If you are able to contribute to finalizing this work, your contribution will be appreciated.

Description

If you installed this plugin, you get a password input field on manage_user_edit_page.php and a button to set the new password - that's all.

No configuration options, no config page. And nothing to patch in your mantis installation.

Does not work on 1.2.17..

I see the tip about 1.2.14, but will you create new version for 1.2.17 or i'll better start my own plugin of that kind?

password field does not appear

I installed Admin Set Password 1.0.0 in Mantis 2.22.0, but the password field does not appear on manage_user_edit_page.php. The javascript code is loaded, but both Chrome and Firefox have similar complaints:
Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at inline (“script-src”)
