Black Gold Boom :: Rough Ride

Install at the web root or sub-domain, not in a sub-directory.

Production Install

Tested on Linux version 2.6.18-028stab101.1 with Apache/2.2.22. Be sure mod_rewrite module is installed. htaccess file may need to be modified if app is not run from root directory.

Using ssh and git

Clone repository into web directory and checkout stable branch.

cd /path/to/web
git clone https://github.com/MAP-Productions/Black-Gold-Boom.git .
git checkout stable

Copy htaccess and index dist files.

cp .htaccess.dist .htaccess
cp index.html.dist index.html

git submodule update --init --recursive

Build Commands

bbb watch

bbb debug

mobile detection does not work on droid.

will it ever? you may have to coordinate or ask James. But it will be helpful for me to know. thanks!

gallery: don't have thumbnails pop up when you use the arrow

intro - scale logo and text for small screens too

title bar should disappear after a few seconds (and return on hover)

put a transparent png over the bottom right corner so people can't click through to youtube

if you hit continue quickly the player bugs out and tries to load everything at once

i could see folks doing this if they come back to show someone a specific chapter. not sure how hard or easy it is to make it smoother.

connect Boomtown Housing gallery to new frame: 31018

add description for items but if there is no description, show nothing.
no gray background. should be transparent white so you can see part of the film coming through.
can arrows be outside of image?
if not, can you make them smaller and center in the height of the image.
