What do you want to learn about making maps?

This is the place to leave suggestions for future MaptimeCHI meetups.

Haven't used GitHub before?
If you haven't used GitHub before, this is a great place to start. "Issues" is a way to track problems, or ask questions about a project. That project can be people-based, like our MaptimeCHI meetups, or code-based (the majority of GitHub repositories).

Sign up for a GitHub account and leave a comment (by creating a new "issue") here saying what you'd like to learn about maps.

How do I change the next event info box?

Make gh-pages default branch

@geografa or @almccon , I'm hoping to set up a Chicago chapter page a-la maptime.github.io/toronto and have done some (possibly misguided) setup. I've forked the starter repo, changed the _config.yml file, and everything seems to be working over at maptime.github.io/chicago.

Still need to start changing the default content, but wanted to ping you guys to make sure this is the proper protocol. Aside from dropping in meaningful content, is there anything else I should be aware of?

Also, is it possible to make gh-pages the default branch? Or does that matter?
