Tournaments project

This application is meant to manage a tournament event, including different sports at the same tournament. Manage competitors, judges, matches, scores, fixtures for each sport within the tournament.

Prerequisites

  • MongoDB
  • NodeJS version 5 or greater

Start application

  1. Start MongoDB server by running mongod
  2. From another terminal, cd into server.
  3. Execute npm install to download dependencies.
  4. Execute node server.js to start Node + Express backend server (node --inspect-brk server.js to debug on chrome)
  5. From another terminal, cd into frontend.
  6. Execute npm install to download dependencies.
  7. Execute npm start to start frontend web server in localhost
  8. Go to http://localhost:3000 and start seting up your tournament!
