Support for v1.4.1

Hey man @marcrobledo . First off, thank you for this amazing save editor. You are a true heroe.

I was wondering if you were planning on adding support for the latest Wii U update, since Nintendo decided to screw people one more time.

BOTW save game issues

I've a problem loading my edited save files. I wanted to change one item to something else, however every item that follows it is gone. For example i've items #1 - #215. I change item #100, and every item #101-#215 is gone.

Can anybody please help?

Kid Icarus: Uprising Weapon Modification

The editing of pre-existing weapons is functional so long as the weapon's actual name is not selected; and or it was already located within the game's weapon slots before editing. If a weapon is changed to another via the drop down menu or is add entirely to the weapon slot list, it will not appear within the game, and can break the weapon slot list forcing the game to crash.

Edit max heart/stamina values

I'm using BotW EU v1.3.1

Hearts
I've only looked for red permanent hearts, not temporary yellow ones.

There are 2 values - one is the maximum number of hearts you have, the other is the current number of hearts you have filled (for example, you might have 9 max hearts but only have 3.75 filled if you've taken some damage). The heart values are stored in quarters.

0001043B: max hearts x4 (e.g. "28" = 10 max red hearts)
000B53AB: filled quarter-hearts ("23" = 8 filled red hearts and 1 heart 3/4 filled = 8.75 filled hearts)

In your editor, you should just set the second value equal to the first value to make it simpler, because no-one would want to give themselves 10 hearts but only have 5 of them full.

Stamina
Stamina is the same as hearts: 'max stamina' and 'how much stamina you have left when you save'

00043C98-00043C9A: max stamina
000516F8-000516FA: filled stamina

The Filled Stamina is saved in the file but ignored when you load, it just fills your filled stamina to max stamina when you load, so in the editor you don't need to change the second value.

Stamina value starts at 447A00 at the start of the game. When you get your first Stamina Vessel, the value increases to 449600 (the first part of the middle stamina wheel).

The values are (and I've included the difference so you can use a function to calculate the correct value):
447A00 (inner wheel full, start of the game)
449600 (middle wheel 1) (diff of 1C00)
44AF00 (middle wheel 2) (diff of 1900)
44C800 (middle wheel 3) (diff of 1900)
44E100 (middle wheel 4) (diff of 1900)
44FA00 (middle wheel full) (diff of 1900)
450980 (outer wheel 1) (diff of 0F80)
451600 (outer wheel 2) (diff of 0C80)
452280 (outer wheel 3) (diff of 0C80)
452F00 (outer wheel 4) (diff of 0C80)
453B80 (outer wheel full) (diff of 0C80)

I've tested each value for max stamina individually, and they are all correct, by loading a save in front of a Goddess Statue, gaining a Stamina Vessel, and noting the new value. You can actually use any number for the max stamina in the range 447A00-453B80, and it will create you wheels of different sizes, not just ones which are 1/5 of a circle.

I did the same to test the hearts, but I only did a it a couple of times because it uses a standard formula.

For Max Stamina, if you add it to your editor I recommend you just have a dropdown option so people can use presets of "inner wheel full", "middle wheel full", "outer wheel full", to make it easy. No-one is going to want to edit their save so they have e.g. middle wheel 2.

Clothes

Maybe a subtitle in clothes for colors could be good.

Actually the input is used for color.

This may be a minor thing but I feel like you should be able to edit horse stats directly from the editor to make a 5 5 5 Star horse

Having an issue at the second time using your tool...

NOTHING works entirely everytime I do the good procedure , nothing works. The first time I did it was for master sword unbreak +15 to make it legit. But after the second time to apply unbreak and + 10 to hylian shield or another stuff... doesnt worked. everything doesnt work anymore and I did the good procedure I dont know what to say or do now im just stuck :/

new version a step backwards

i love the look of the new version. i hope i'm not missing something, but it is a serious step backwards in terms of functionality. i can no longer edit my items in place, which means if i want to change a star level on an item, i no longer can. i also can't rearrange my inventory anymore. i appreciate all the work you've done, but in terms of usefulness, this is now less useful. i think you might want to restore the old editability of the items while incorporating the new, really amazing, UI.

Are botw map pins possible?

Has anyone looked into finding the offsets / format of map pin data? It would be really cool to be able to add pins for missing shrines or korok seeds if that data were availible in some way.

It looks like this tool can set the korok seed "completed" flags, so it could read them, and potentially set map pins for ones that have not been found yet. That would be amazingly useful if possible.

I'd be happy to help out on it, but I'm afraid I have no idea where to start trying to find the correct locations to edit map pins.

Loading a save file won't work

Hi!
Your project looks really good but I can't manage to load a game file...
When I choose a file, nothing happens.

I wanted to test your tool with a EUR BotW save file.
The name of the file is good (game_data.sav). I tested your tool on Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Same everywhere, the file just doesn't load and nothing happens.
I don't block javascript, I don't use any adblocker or anything that may prevent your code from working correctly.

Can you fix this issue, please?

Save Editor resets progress

Every time I replace a save file with one from the editor it sets me back to right after Link first wakes with nothing.
This happens even when I dont edit anything, just replace the save file with the one from the editor.

Unable to open or save Zelda BOTW 1.2.0 save files

The file validation on uploading of a save file for Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild within savegame-editors.js does not correctly validate against save files generated by version 1.2.0. It appears that only the previous two versions of the game are accepted.

If you bypass the validation check with a javascript debugger, the parsing of the save file is malformed. Some data is parsed correctly, rupees for example, but weapons, armor, and horses all are read incorrectly. In short, the editing of files generated by v1.2.0 does not work correctly.

REQ - Reset progress / import inventory to new save game - new game +

So it seems it should be possible to essentially reset game progress with this tool?
Don't know if it's possible to extract quest data with this tool, but maybe it could be possible to take a new game file, import the inventory of another save file? And in essence create a new game + tool?

Trial of the Sword?

Is there anyway to get credit for completing any of the Trial of the Sword?

Doesn't set DLC enemies to stock

The Hyrule Compendium "Set to Stock" feature does not work for Molduking, Monk Maz Koshia, or Igneo Talus Titan from the Champions Ballad DLC. It says "0 pics were reseted to stock." And if you delete the images from the save directory, the pictures in game are blank.

Item quantity not saved

After I change the quantity of an item, it is not saved in the new file.

I change an items quantity from 6 to 30 and ingame it stays at 6.
Like 6 Sunset Firefly to 30 and it stays at 6.

I can still change the durability of the weapons.

One-hit obliterator

Plis add the one-hit obliterator in te save game editor for breath of the wild is the best weapon.

i dumped the save using saviine found the savgame file. moved it over to your save game editor modded it then i put it back in the "1" folder, injected it back in botw using saviine went to my save and nothing i edited was there.
and yes the savegame i found was in the "1" folder

Mons, What is it!?

There is a box in the HTML and JS for a variable "Mons"

But I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is for. I have changed it and can't see anything change in my game.

hex offsets for shield and weapon modifier

sorry for commenting on the change, didn't think of issue
so from my tests on two different games offsets don't change
so here so far shield and melee weapon offsets
000b58e0 shield modifier type (right side of the colum that's the line address in hex view)
000632c0 shield modifier value (right side of the column of random hex values)

000503d0 weapon modifier type (right side of the column)
000a9da1 weapon modifier value (also right side)

000045f1 bow mod type (right side)
0000a940 bow mod value (left side of the column for some reason, or i'm seeing it wrong)

by right side I mean for example at 000045f1 it would look like

where xx is the range for the values and 0cbf052a is one of the many possible hex strings that make 'columns' in the save file

as example
00 00 00 01 is "Attack Up +" in white
80 00 00 01 is "Attack Up +" in gold

so a short list of possible modifiers
the first few seem to be for weapons, but it doesn't seem to make a difference and anything shows on anything

08 long throw (i like this on the sea breeze boomerang, i've only seen it on two handed weapons)

from here on they are perhaps for bows specifically?

in the list i found all bow ones were specifically denoted with 80 00 00 xx
but that might just be to make the symbol look golden and how the guy found it/extrapolated from a gold symbol item

also when i saw the horse editor, there's also the possibility to change the bridle/saddle dunno if it's of interest it's just numbered 0 to 6 or 1 to 6 (6 being unattainable epona stuff) perhaps i'll have a look myself at the editor and see how the other things are implemented and copy paste it accordingly, but my coding skills are rather bad and not actively developed for a decade ^

also i think that the space reserved in the savefile for modifiers and their values is as long as there are slots for each type of stuff

OK so I used this a little bit and now I cant load sdcaffine mods. WHat I mean is that when I load up the game with mods, link is uncontrollable. He's not there and the camera is in a weird position. I am so mad that I cant use these mods and I will do anything to use them again. PLEAS HELP ME IM SO MAD! I will get a screenshot if I can.

Pray to increase hearts & stamina ?

When I try to go and pray to increase hearts & stamina, it doesn't read my "spirit orbs" counter in my save file (all non items are well integrated in the game).
Did I missed something ?

Streetpass Mii Plaza Savegame Editor

Hello, I don't know why but the Streetpass Mii Plaza Savegame Editior doesn't work anymore. Can you please fix this issue because I want to use the Editor for my Plaza. Or can you say me what the issue is????

Update 1.3.3 is released, no longer able to use the save editor

Now that Nintendo released update 1.3.3 today, the save editor no longer works. Also the update adds xenoblade chronicles 2 armor, and new amiibo armor for the champions.

This save editor is the best way to get amiibo armor. It would be great to have it updated!

Breath of the Wild saves no longer load

Using Cemu 1.7.4d. I created some saved games this morning that will not load in the editor. Once I pick the save, the tool just reads "Editing savegame for none." and I have nothing else onscreen except the "Save" button.

BotW horse editor doesn't register new horses

I have registered 1 horse in the game. If I use the editor to edit horse #2, the horse appears in-game in my list of horses that I can take out, but when I try to take it out, the horse does not physically appear in the game next to me. There must be a flag somewhere in the save file that 'enables' a horse.

If I then register a new horse in-game, it overwrites the horse #2 from the save file. If I then load my save into the editor, I can edit horse #2 and my changes appear in-game.

So I can use the editor to edit an existing horse, but it doesn't add a new horse correctly.

can't get it to work

I did ok. I back up my save game using savemii and edit the save game but I can't get it to load . in save mii restore save data, says that slot empty. and says i dont have anything to load , but it is in the sd card please help

Cant move link & map & items screen have "merged" after using online editor..

Im so pissed.. My save is f**ked after using this... I've used it well over 20+ times in the past.. Ive even tried the save on another cemu & the same thing.. If I start a new game I can move around.. As soon as I save, & load the save.. No movement, but I can enter menu, & the menu overlaps with each other.. Game completed, Doing divine beasts dlc, and now This.. Please help me..

Team Kirby Clash DX Update

Hello,
I tried using the editor recently but I do not think it will work anymore because of the update to V1.1.0
I used the editor and when I uploaded the sav.dat, it was not recognized and the game started over. I do not see any other save editors for this game, if yours can be fixed, that would be awesome. I just hope it can read the sav.dat the current editor gave me so I can upload and edit it with the new information.

compatible save file not found problem

i try to load a save from C:\Users\Alejandro Gendrop Jr\Desktop\CEMU 1.8.1\cemu_1.8.1b\mlc01\emulatorSave\dcac9927\0 (game_data.sav) to be specific. and i get the message Compatible savegame not found. any ideas?

SteetPass Mii Plaza SavegameEditor

Hello again, I realy think that the file is not blank because I extract the file again and so on... But I have a question: Can you upload a working meet.dat anywhere, that I can download it and use the SavegameEditor. Can you do that?

Hyrule Warriors Savegame Editor - Cannot Edit APP.BIN Twice

Yesterday, after dumping my APP.BIN, I used the Hyrule Warriors Savegame Editor to mess with my save file (max rupees, max EXP, overpowered weapons, etc). I injected the save file back into the Wii U with no issues at all, and everything worked as expected; every weapon I created was present, I had 9,999,999 Rupees and 999 of every material, and each character would level up to 255 after defeating an enemy or two.
Today, I dumped the newest version of this save file, where I bought every badge for every character, got some new weapons, and completed a few more Adventure Mode missions. However, trying to load the APP.BIN in the Hyrule Warriors Savegame Editor gave me this screen.

Yesterday, when I loaded the save file, a plethora of options appeared for me to edit, but these options are gone now. I've refreshed the page and loaded the file again to no effect. I've also tried dumping the save file again, but that also did not seem to accomplish anything.

Streetpass editor

How do I get the meet.dat file from my system? Since it's a native system application, do I have to use JKSM via CIA rather than 3dsx? (I actually can't do that, sadly.) When I choose Save Data Options (I think that's what it is, my 3DS crashed when I went to check just now), it tells me there was an error opening the save archive or something akin to that. The file I'm looking for isn't in the Extdata.
Any ideas? (...aside from "ntrboothax," which I'm extremely disappointed isn't going to work for me.)
