You are here because:

Facebook stores cookies automatically, and if you're logged out of facebook in your browser, they want you to login in order to keep fetching data and they also enforce a spam filter.

To reset this you have 3 options:

Option A:
Login to facebook on your browser -> in the extension settings, click the "edit" button for the Sidebar FB Gaming feature -> then click save -> then wait a few seconds for it to refresh.

Option B:
If you do not wish to login to facebook:
Wait, it seems that sometimes the errors stop after 30-60 minutes.

Option C:
If you do not wish to login to facebook:

1. Close all facebook tabs on your browser.
2. If you have a lot of streamers in your FB streamers list, remove a few (try to have a max of 6 or 7).
3. Turn off the "Sidebar Facebook Gaming" feature in the extension settings and refresh your twitch tabs.
4. Clear you browser's facebook-related site data and cookies (instructions below).
5. wait 1 hour before turning the feature on and do not visit facebook on your browser during that 1 hour.
6. after at least 1 hour, turn the feature on and wait a few seconds for it to refresh.

Clear browser's facebook-related site data and cookies

Chrome:

• go to chrome://settings/content/all?searchSubpage=facebook
• clear all entries related to facebook.

Firefox:

• go to about:preferences#privacy
• under "Cookies and Site Data" section click on "Manage Data...".
• in the popup search for "facebook".
• remove all facebook related entries in the box,
• click "Save Changes".

Other browsers:

• Clear facebook related site data and cookies from your browser's settings.

I'm primarily requesting this because having to re-favorite a bunch of streamers after reinstalling gets a bit annoying, but having a way to sync just about everything would be nice too (same goes for dual boot or multi-machine setups and the likes).

Glancing over the code I see that you moved away from chrome.storage.sync in favor of chrome.storage.local so I assume this has already received some thought in the past. Maybe a manual export/import feature like FFZ currently has could work too (although they also have an open issue asking for cloud syncing).

All of my subscribe youtube channels aren't showing in my sidebar. It only shows 3-5 youtube channels, but when I opened my youtube, there's a couple more, even gaming channels that are live aren't showing.

Adjust it so it shows what game they playing instead of this random HTML :)

Have it toggled for a few streamers but it doesn't show them on the sidebar when they are live. Just to note, I do have ffz so not sure if something from that is making it not work. YouTube streams do show up though.

However, the profile picture in the youtube section is always weird. DrDisrespect always has the same as Sodapoppin. I mean, it's the animated profile picture from Soda, but I assume this isn't a 7TV issue.

It needs ~3 sec to preview a video of a stream, is that normal? I think that way to slow, and sometimes it doesn't review anything, it only loads but nothing happens.

I get these two errors in my console when the review doesn't load:

Known issue: FB sidebar section not populating with streamers when logged out of facebook in the browser.

Temporary fix until it's handled by the extension:
Facebook stores cookies automatically, if you're logged out of facebook, sometimes there seems to be a "token expired" scenario.
To fix this, you need to clear your Facebook data from your browser:

Chrome:

1. go to chrome://settings/content/all?searchSubpage=facebook
2. clear all entries related to facebook.
3. open the Twitch Previews settings menu, then open the FB streamers edit menu and click "Save" (this would force a refresh for the FB Gaming streamers list),
4. after a few seconds the list should refresh with your FB streamers.

The predictions sniper doesn't work when moderating a community. It tries to predict but gets stuck on this screen:

A separate switch to enable/disable predictions when you are mod would be great, because I want it only predict on streams I'm not mod on.

When I try and add a FB streamer it doesn't show on the side bar. It says, "No live FB Gaming streamers" even when they are live.

Can you add an option similar to this

Account : One thing though, You can't use a gaming page as the profile, you need to be logged into your main fb account for it to come up on the twitch feed.

• macOS: Catalina 10.15.7
• Chrome: 89.0.4389.114
• Twitch Previews: 1.7.1.0

1. Auto refresh on twitch player error in Twitch Previews was turned on before the Twitch tab was created.
2. When the #2000 error shows up in the Twitch tab, the Chrome window was on the second monitor, and was not the active window, but the Twitch tab (#2000) in Chrome was the active tab.
3. The Twitch tab didn't automatically refresh.
4. When I click on the Twitch player — not on the Click Here to Reload Player button or any link, just to make the Chrome window become the active window to test — it still doesn't refresh.

I'm also using BetterTTV 7.2.92, if it matters.

In Directory Preview I expect it to enlarge the thumbnail when hovering the mouse, same as Sidebar Previews works with same Preview Size, instead it tries to load a video preview

Love the extension.
Give us an option to hide reruns. Rerun is when streamer replays the past stream. It clogs up interface and is annoying but Twitch doesn't allow us to hide it.

Hey, love the extension, would it be possible to get the FB & YouTube followed channels list to show underneath the Twitch Followed list?

I mainly go to Twitch to watch twitch streamers but also like to see if the 2-3 people that are on FB are streaming, but everything I go to twitch and go to click on a Twitch streamer, the FB & YouTube list decide to finally load and pushes the Twitch list down causing me to click another streamer instead.

Not getting a prompted when enabling the FB sidebar. I'm logged out of FB and have cleared the cookies or sign in, through Chrome.
Also I have blockers that would have prompted me if something was trying to pop up and nothing prompted me about anything. Really was excited to be able to watch FB streamers again.

What is happening:

Basically even though option is set to off, sidebar automatically extends itself. Can be seen here: https://youtu.be/glaNEfnJHbU
Note: Soemtimes it stops auto extending, however once you hover over online channel and preview loads, once you move your mouse it extends again.

Expected behaviour:

If option is set to off, it should not extend the sidebar.

Can this preview feature be extended to a streamer's clips too?

I would like it if every stream from the different platforms would just be displayed under the followed section. So that there are no gaps (see screenshot) and the streamers are simply sorted by audience. Maybe you can add a small icon next to the name that indicated what platform the streamer is using..

The video preview function doesn't seem to be functional in the Microsoft Edge browser. It gets stuck at "loading stream...", not even loading the multi-stream or volume icons. I've turned down the resolution to 300px, turned off advanced imbeds, and other potential memory saves, but it still won't load even after 10 minutes.

After the latest update (the one that changed the interface), the sniper doesn't work for me anymore. The preview sniper says it will vote, but when it comes time to vote, it just flickers (like it did before) to check the prediction, but never votes. I have my settings on 1% vote margin so every time it should be voting.

Edit: Further testing:
I even tried clicking Vote Now on the sniper screen which also did not work, it just flickers and doesn't vote. And also the sniper is showing as active with the green icon yet still not voting at the end.

Around 3:30 pm EST every day I'm not able to see Facebook streamers on my sidebar. It says "error-click to see details" for every FB stream I've added. If I click on it, it brings up a stream or a VOD of some streamer named "NULL". No clue who null is nor have I ever followed or watched him

It would be nice to have this functionality since in some Drops it is necessary to claim before continuing to farm the following Drops

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable various Twitch-Previews settings including the Screenshot Stream Button
2. Enable the "Advanced Video Embeds" setting
3. Open a new multistre.am tab with a currently live stream (e.g. https://multistre.am/buddha/layout0/)

Current behaviour:

No changes occur to the embedded stream, e.g. the Screenshot Stream Button is not visible, despite changes operating fine on non-embedded streams.

Expected behaviour:

Changes occur to the embed relevant to the settings enabled, such as seeking and a screenshot button.

I'm refering to the Twitch extensions that the streamers enable on their stream, not other browsers extensions. For example, the Path of Exile extension that allows us to see the streamer's builds makes me unable to use left and right arrow keys to go forward or backward in the stream, I have to disable the Twitch extension to make it work.

I have no idea if any other extension messes with the feature.

Just notice it like a day or 2. My sidebar for my youtube channels is not being updated and being spammed with one channel. not sure how to go about fixing it.

Is streamer can see you like you watching stream when previewing as picture or video.

This is on Microsoft Edge with chrome extensions

On chromium (I assume this also happens on Chrome), with video previews on, a new entry is added to the browser history each time you hover over a stream in the navigation sidebar. With image previews this doesn't happen.

Were you aware that the Twitch API V5 is now legacy and will be shutdown on February, 28, 2022? Will this extension be upgraded to work with the new Twitch API? first of all I just found your addon today and I like it alot especially about the auto prediction bot.

For years I use the chrome addon "Twitch alternate player" and its really good and smooth for my Computer.
Unfortunately your addon is not active when I have the twitch alternate player on.
You would be my hero if you can fix that.

I am a moderator on a single channel, and when I turn on multistream, I cannot write to the twitch chat due to the message indicated in the title. I have been looking at the code for a very long time and still do not understand why this is happening. On other channels (probably due to the fact that I'm not a moderator) I have no problems sending messages in the twitch chat

A volume boosting option would be very helpful for quiet streams.

This is the best extension I've used, keep it up!

Not really an issue but a wish for future updates, if those are planned, to make a delay option before preview window pops up.
Reason is while Im scrolling through "following channels" sidebar, the preview windows are coming up every time Im on the channel name...

While I'd like to see non-twitch streams in the sidebar, the reliance on one's subscriptions is a problem because then old livestream recordings pollute your Youtube subscriptions page and interfere with your Youtube experience.

Are there any plans for one?

Maybe i understand the feature wrong, but i get the standard amount of items shown and the show more button.

I'm on latest chrome stable.

Enabled are directory preview, auto clicker and extended sidebar.
