How to turn off exam quiz scores

hello!
I created a quiz and disabled the "Show category score" option. However, after finishing the quiz, the test score is still displayed on the screen.

No import in WP 6....

html tag not working in incorrect answer

Hi Markus!

I use Wp-Pro-Quiz plugin a long time. I'm trying your plugin on my staging page. I want to share some bugs I found:

• The html tags I added to the "Message with the incorrect answer(optional)" field don't work and the images do not appear.
• There was a problem while importing and not all exams were added.
• Although "Show category score" is turned off, it shows the score according to the category as a result of the exam.

Disabled categories showing in results page

Even thought showing the categories option is disabled, it is showing at end of the quiz what are the categories of the quiz.
May you have a look and how to disable it?

mathematics symbols show in HTML code

I am trying to use the plugin to setup some maths quizzes but some symbols, mainly, ÷ show up as HTML code (÷) on the webpage.

Any help/suggestions would be highly appreciated ...

How to export quiz?

I see there is an import option, but I dont know how to format the Json file in order for it to succeed, so I thought I would export it first then make modifications, but I cant find a way to do it.

All users are not shown in the Statistics' history

I refreshed several times but all users are not shown in the Statistics' history page. I see only one user who has participated in the quiz; though I have selected 10 for how many entries should be shown on one page, it shows only one user in the list.

I used a Custom field for user naming. It is used when starting the quiz.

User: Anonymous | Full name (Custom Field): Mamun Hossen |

And then nothing is found in the list even when more users participate and submit. I refreshed several times.

By the way, otherwise, I loved this plugin.

Frontend Category Resuts Displaying Incorrect CSS Code

Howsit, your code for CSS isn't outputting correctly for category results. For some reason its double wrapping the " marks of the style response which is invalidating the display: none;

Here are some screenshots of the issue:

I have selected to not display these results so its doing the right thing just the wrong way.

Calling Shortcode From PHP

Hi there man, I have been trying to run your shortcode for a quiz using do_shortcode in a php function and then output the result. I dont seem to be getting it to run, have you anything thoughts on why this may be happening?

Unnecessary query and CSS load entire site

I have several quiz on some page in my site. It works very well. I wanted to discuss a potential optimization for this plugin that could significantly improve performance.

The current plugin behavior loads additional CSS (css/wpAdvQuiz_front.min.css) and conducts database queries (in snapshot attachment) across the entire site, even on pages without the quiz shortcode. To enhance efficiency, could the plugin be modified to load these resources conditionally, specifically on pages where the quiz shortcode is present?

Implementing this conditional loading feature would streamline resource usage, optimizing performance by focusing resources solely on pages where the quiz feature is utilized.

Number of questions per category per quiz

Hi! How can we assign number of questions per category like if i have multiple category,

1. Math
2. English
3. History

And I want to assign total 20 questions

1. Math (10 random questions out of 20)
2. English (8 random questions out of 10)
3. History (2 random questions out of 18)

How can I do this?

Is it possible to make it work for Arabic, right to left formating for the answers?

Right now the checkbox are only possible on the left of the answers.

The number of questions is the same, but the score for each question is different. However, the highest score is not first in the list. how can i solve this problem?

How to export questions from Wp-Pro-quiz

Hi, I am trying to get all of my questions/quizzes from wp-pro-quiz into Wp-Adv-Quiz and ran into an issue when trying to export. I have tried exporting XML and it crashes my site with a fatal error. Does anyone have any idea how I could get migrated over to the new plug-in without having to recreate all my quizzes? Any help greatly appreciated!

'Results Text' Option and Template management not Working

Recently I got another issue.

We add "'Results Text'" option to the text that appears when the quiz is completed, but when I used it, it is not working.

I once put the text in it and saved it, but when I re-opened the quiz setting after 1 minute, I saw that the 'Results Text' option did not contain the text I entered. It was completely empty.

Apart from this, when we save the setting of a quiz in the template, it is not saved.

Please give some suggestions.

Translation does not work

I translated the plugin. Updated the translation. But the plugin is still in English. I reviewed the translation files on my server. They are fine (there are original strings and my translation strings). I don't know what the problem is.

Hey, thank you for updating the old wp-pro-quiz plugin.
Is it possible for you to upload the old translations onto translate.wordpress.org?
I've tested the german translations locally and they seem to be mostly completed with only a few missing.
Since I'm not an editor for the plugins translations I can't upload the translations myself, according to this Thread it should be possible to just import the existing files.

Migrating quizzes from non-active WP-PRO-QUIZ

Hello, I wonder if you could help me. My original WP-PRO-QUIZ plugin stopped working due to the change to version PHP 8 on the provider´s servers.
I have installed WP-ADV-QUIZ and I´d like to migrate my old quizzes through .xml deposit. However, as the original PRO-QUIZ plugin cannot be activated any more, I am wondering if there is any way to get the data from inside the web. Could you provide me with some advice, please?

A few years ago I translated Wp-Pro-Quiz plugin into Ukrainian. Is it possible to add this translation to Wp-Adv-Quiz plugin?

Suggestion: Custom coloring & rtl support

Can you please add more coloring controllers?

Main background bolor
Correct/incorrect messages colors
Answers section background color
"Question X of Y" color
etc.

And about the rtl - can you please add rtl direction support to the whole quiz?
That can help a lot.
It will effect the answers direction and the default text direction.

wpAdvQuiz_catName is not defined in the css file

wpAdvQuiz_catName is referenced as the styling for category name next to score, but this styling is not defined.

Import WPQ format

Hi,
I would greatly appreicate if you could help me to figure out is there any way to import "wpq" format export files from WP Pro Quiz to WP-Adv-Quiz? Since the legacy plugin is broken (my domain has been updated to PHP8 and there is no going back) I can't export quizes in XML format, only in WPQ format. Can you please help?

Suggestion - Practice Mode / Show Answer

An option to take the exam in "Practice Mode" where there would be a toggle button to show the correct answer and explanations for the current question (and toggle back to original question view when pressed again) would be a useful addition.

All the buttons in the quiz have the same default color, can we set any color according to our own. If yes then how?

Any html tag is not parsed anywhere within the plugin.
I've gone through all fields even in the messages with html tick still showing raw html in frontend.

Another question regarding Mycred plugin can I still use the Mycred plugin as it was used with the old wp-pro-quiz before?

For anyone who has issues with language.po files and all language's not working in his plugin

i put the file on the plugin languages folder
[ wp-content\plugins\Wp-Adv-Quiz-main\languages ]

And nothing happened

but when i put it on this general path
[ wp-content\languages\plugins ]

it's work perfectly!
so i think it's the solution.

Bug with "Skip question" button

Quiz is finished. If then pressed "Restart quiz" and "Start quiz" again - the "Skip question" button disappears.

Short code is being printed [WpAdvQuiz_toplist 2 q="true"] but unregsitered user is not asked to sign up for leaderboard

Currenlty only registered user is appearing in the leaderboard, the unregesistered user is not being asked to put his details to be in the leader board.

Some signs are displayed incorrectly

Import quiz 'moves' custom fields

Hi there

So when you import a quiz using a template and that template comes from a quiz that has custom fields defined then instead of copying the custom fields it actually moves them to that newly created quiz and removes them from the previous quiz that had them in.

So if you have 1 quiz and then make 5 more and import the template for quiz 1 into 2 then 3 etc... then the quiz 5 will have the custom fields and all the other quizzes from 1 - 4 will have nothing.

Ability to stop quiz if x answers are worng

Hello.
It would be nice to implement an option to stop the quiz if a no. of questions have wrong answers.

For example I make a quiz with random 20 questions from a total of 100+
If user don't answer correct at 4/20 the test end, he fail.

Add general statistics

Add a page on which general statistics will be displayed:

• How many quiz have been completed per day, week, month, year, all the time;
• 10 most popular quizzes and the percentage of correct answers;
• The general leaderboard by users and the points they scored (Add the ability to display the general leaderboard on the site page using a shortcode);
• Add leaderboards by quiz categories (Add the ability to display the category leaderboard on the site page using a shortcode).
