Embed specific FAQ set on page

We've just started using the app, really like it :)

Enhancement request - is there anyway to pull a single FAQ set onto a page, given the app is installed at site level? We have a 'productivity hub' site with multiple software/product pages, and it'd be nice to post only the relevant FAQ for that product.

Possibility to expand the number of characters

I would like to know if it's possible to expand the maximum number of characters in a column of an FAQ ?

FAQ Page cannot be deleted through the classic interface or using the power shell command

The FAQ Page app cannot be deleted through the classic interface or even using the power shell command.

There is not retention policy applied to the SharePoint site. This is the error message I continuously get when trying to delete it :

Can you link to a FAQ on another site collection

We manage 4 site collections and we want to avoid duplication. Is there a way to link to a faq in another site collection?

Extracting data from FAQ app to Excel etc

Is there a way to extract data that i have built into the Sharepoint FAQ App, into an excel sheet (or Word document etc)?

Webpart parameters not saved on new publishing pages / new SPO UI.

Hi.

We try to use FAQ solution under a communication site, with the new UI / new publishing page.

When we add the FAQ webpart on a page, we define parameters / choose FAQ sets and click save button.
The green popup appears "You data successfuly saved".

After, we publish the page and the below message appears :

App part is not configured.
Please, edit app part to configure its properties.

Browser : IE11 / Edge

Error installing the FAQ app

When we get to the point in SharePoint Online of actually getting into the managed app section "Select Purchase to buy this App or select Cancel to return to the App detail page.' we are getting the msg:

"Everything is fine, but we had a small problem getting your license. Please go back to the SharePoint Store to get this app again and you won't be charged for it."

when we then click "return to site" nothing happens and we are redirected to the "Getting started with your app catalog site"

We have done all the possible actions that you can find on the internet, but this message always comes up.

App not loading when jquery is loaded from custom action

We have jQuery loaded as a scriptlink (Site Scoped). In this case the app just loads an empty page. I tested by deleting the jquery source file from the site, the app then loads as expected.

Multimedia content

Hi there,
I was trying other content different to text on Answer field and I couldn't get nothing about that.

When insert an image, from SharePoint or external, the image appear while editing, but when save the image is lost. You don't see it from the WebPart or when you edit again the entry.

Instead, in the App home of Office Store I see a screenshot with a video on Answer field, but when I'm editing my FAQ entry the insert video option is disabled for the Answer.

Could you please review it or show me if I'm wrong?
I'm using SharePoint Online and Chrome Versión 65.0.3325.181 (Build oficial) (64 bits)

I have download use app and my user feedback an issue which attaching a file on web part searching

at web part.
1.User search a text content:
app return all incidents related to the content that users searching and The text is matching that will be Highline with Yellow color.

2. User clicks on attaching a file [the name of attaching is matching with content search then hight line too]. The link address appears code <span class "highlight">[content search] that make the address go wrong.

Customize css? (colors, padding etc...)

I think your solution would be so much better if you could allow the customization of the css - is this something you can expose in the UI?

FAQ installer for sharepoint 2013 on premise

Hello Sergei,We are interested in installing the FAQ page app, however we cant do it using the Microsoft app store. Is it possible to get the installer for it for sharepoint 2013 on premise so we can install it without going thru the MS store? Thanks for your help and look forward to hearing from you. Pete

FAQ app and screen resolution differences

I love the FAQ app that you created and it works very well with some SP work I am doing. However; not sure if you've seen or heard of this issue before. My small challenge is that I started developing my FAQ page on my laptop with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, but when I view it on one of my desktop monitors at work with a resolution of 1280 x 1024, it cuts off some of the Answers to the Questions and does not display it on the screen. I thought it would just adjust to different screen resolutions, but it does not appear to be the case.

"App part is not configured"

Whenever I add the webpart 'Faq client web part' to a modern site, I keep seeing the text:
"App part is not configured.
Please, edit app part to configure its properties."
whenever I republish the site. I've dragged the source FAQ to the Web Part's Faq Sets, but it doesn't seem to save this setting, because whenever I edit the webpart again, the source is back to "Source FAQ sets".

I've created a source FAQ with some question, for testing purposes, but it doesn't pop up sadly. Is this a bug with modern SharePoint sites, or am I doing something wrong?

Clickable Email Address

When I add an email address to the answer or question is it possible to make that email address clickable so that starts a new email in outlook?

Unable to add new/edit existing data

When looking to make an addition to my existing FAQ database I can no longer see the buttons within the 'Site Contents > FAQ App' menu.

Usually after following the above path i will be shown 2/3 options such as Add a new database/Edit current database etc. However, this page is now blank with a button to direct me to contact the developer. I'm really hoping this is just a temporary issue as this app has been amazing for me the last few years and it would be a shame if i had to stop using it.

500 or Server Error in '/' Application.

html tags being searched and highlighted

Hi,
While using the search by keywords (e.g. "d" or "s"), it's found that corresponding html tags are being retrieved and highlighted as well (e.g. "

" or "<span").

Is it possible to modify and ignore those checking without searching through the html tags?

Having the height of the app auto adjust

When setting the appearance for the FAQ Client web part, there is an option to "Resize to fit the page". When you select that, the Width grays out, but the height remains adjustable. If you do not set the height value to some large number, then any questions/answers that do not fit within the height of the webpart gets cut off and there is no scroll bar to visible to scroll to see the rest of the items within the webpart. Is there a way to resolve this issue? Would be happy to send along screenshots.

500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

After months of it working, I'm getting a 500 error when trying to access the FAQ Page app. Did something recently change?

Is it possible to do a link from another page to the site page of the FAQ embedding in ....

the faq set so that the web part is "pre-filtered" with the specific faq set (as if someone had selected it)
part 2:
is it possible to expand the answer to a specific question from a link so ?answer=12 kind of thing, so you are taken to that answer and it's expanded...

Scrolling/Highlight Color

Hello,

I started to use this app, and I have noticed two things. One: the page cuts off when I add new FAQs. Is there any way to scroll to see the rest of the page?

Second: The highlight color is yellow but the Q is also yellow, and this makes it very difficult when searching. Is there any way to change the color? Or to make the search selection all gray?

FAQ Page error

I have created several FAQ sets and added questions under each. For some reason, I have some questions appearing under multiple sets from the UI perspective. When I go to edit the sets, the questions are all displaying in the correct locations, so there is nothing I can change. Any ideas?

Unable to get links to save

I want to link from FAQ answer to another page on the site. The link appears in the FAQ edit section but, if you display it on a page, the link disappears. Note - editing the item directly in the list does save the link correctly, but it would be great if this worked in the FAQ edit page.

Webpart not showing up on Safari

We like the plugin, unfortunately as Mac users, some of our employees are using Safari and the FAQ simply doesn't show up. Is this a known issue? Any plan to have this fixed?

Unable to add app to SharePoint site

I have the FAQ app on several of the team sites on our SharePoint 2016 on premise server and they work great! I was trying to add a new FAQ app to a team site that requires one and I get an error message after I click on add app, FAQ Page, Trust it...the redirect page of "Sorry, something went wrong" comes up.

Hope you can help - we love the app and would really like another FAQ on this team site.

Cannot access permissions / need to share my FAQ page in other team

My question is related to FAQ Page application :
I have a page in our private team site (spo) where i am using the FAQ Page app and it is working very well .
Now i am trying to share this page with users outside the private team , but within the same organisation . I have set the permissions for the page as : Everyone except external users , but it didnt work . Users can open the link shared , but without being able to view the content , which is rendered by the FAQ app .
Is is because those users dont have permissions for the FAQ app? Any ideas? Please help

New FAQ set not showing up

Hello,

I tried to send the following message via the contact form on your web site, but it was unclear whether the form actually sent the message or not (the send button became greyed out, but there was no other feedback or reaction that I could see).

I'm using this app as part of a contract job I'm working at, and today I had to create a new FAQ set (previously I had only added or edited questions in existing sets). I was able to enter all the questions and answers easily enough, but the new set has not shown up on the FAQ page. I've refreshed it multiple times, cleared my browser cache, and tried logging out of Sharepoint and back in again, but the new set is still not showing. I've searched around for any hidden setting that might affect the visibility of a FAQ set, but no luck.

It's strange because whenever I've added, edited or removed questions in an existing set, the changes have shown up right away... Is there something I'm missing? Something special I have to do to make a new FAQ set show up on the page?
