app-platform-ui's Introduction

Hi there, I'm Matthew 👋 ✨

I'm a Principal Software Architect and from New York, NY. 👨‍💻

When problems surface, I methodically turn them into opportunities.

My stewardship keeps me intensely rooted from ideation to code with the intensity for focusing on methodologies that maximize outputs and minimizes inputs. By setting into motion, a “mentoring is implied” culture in a self-governing environment influenced by the strict practice of agile principles, a center of gravity begins to form around the requirements.

The anatomy of my approach, the composition of strategic units that delivers consistent results with discipline & maturity is the foundation for attracting exceptionally smart people, that you can remarkably trust. What this will achieve will blow you away!

Today’s proliferation of technology necessitates a paradigm shift in talent acquisition where being multi-disciplined is a pre-requisite, and having a healthy disregard for the status quo is now a stipulation.

Fully embracing my autodidactic nature has facilitated the rapid ability to educate myself to advanced levels beyond the attainability of the traditional outlets in today’s industry. Because of this, I excel naturally in multi-disciplined environments, roles & capacities.

  • ⚡ I roll deep in devops, kubernetes, architecture design & implementation, and application development.
  • 💬 Ask me about how to create resilient and scalable architectures 😄
  • 📫 How to reach me: by email or mateothegreat#0001 on Discord.

What's up now?

Alt text

I'm presently in the process of developing a sophisticated camera surveillance platform. This robust platform is designed to securely store video footage, ensuring that critical data isn't lost. More than just a storage solution, it's equipped to process the stored footage through an advanced machine learning pipeline. The purpose of this pipeline is to perform video analytics, providing insightful data that can be leveraged in various ways. Additionally, it's capable of motion detection, identifying any movement within the video frames and triggering alerts if necessary. Beyond these capabilities, the platform also offers additional features to further enhance its utility and effectiveness.

This platform has been designed using fault tolerant microservices backed by kubernetes.

Release Notes v5.9.0

⚠️ Deprecations

  • [deprecation] Several utility functions from src/language/utils.ts have been deprecated (#3476)
  • [deprecation] Linting non-existent files now outputs a warning. This will be an error in TSLint 6. (#3313)

Configuration inheritance changes

Significant changes have been made to configuration inheritance to address a long-standing UX issue around defualtSeverity: #2569.

defaultSeverity defined in a tslint.json file will now override the defaultSeverity value defined in any configurations you are extending.
This means that any rules specified in the base configurations can now take on a new defaultSeverity if you so choose. If you extend multiple
configuration files, the defaultSeverity defined in the last one wins.

In practice, this allows users to, for example, more easily use the built-in TSLint configurations (tslint:recommended, tslint:latest, tslint:all)
and treat all errors as warnings instead of errors.

For more details, see the relevant PRs:

  • Override defaultSeverity defined in extended configs (#3449)
  • Inherit defaultSeverity and apply it to preceding base configs (#3530)

Version 10 of node.js has been released

Version 10 of Node.js (code name Dubnium) has been released! 🎊

To see what happens to your code in Node.js 10, Greenkeeper has created a branch with the following changes:

  • Added the new Node.js version to your .travis.yml

If you’re interested in upgrading this repo to Node.js 10, you can open a PR with these changes. Please note that this issue is just intended as a friendly reminder and the PR as a possible starting point for getting your code running on Node.js 10.

More information on this issue

Greenkeeper has checked the engines key in any package.json file, the .nvmrc file, and the .travis.yml file, if present.

  • engines was only updated if it defined a single version, not a range.
  • .nvmrc was updated to Node.js 10
  • .travis.yml was only changed if there was a root-level node_js that didn’t already include Node.js 10, such as node or lts/*. In this case, the new version was appended to the list. We didn’t touch job or matrix configurations because these tend to be quite specific and complex, and it’s difficult to infer what the intentions were.

For many simpler .travis.yml configurations, this PR should suffice as-is, but depending on what you’re doing it may require additional work or may not be applicable at all. We’re also aware that you may have good reasons to not update to Node.js 10, which is why this was sent as an issue and not a pull request. Feel free to delete it without comment, I’m a humble robot and won’t feel rejected 🤖

Action required: Greenkeeper could not be activated 🚨

🚨 You need to enable Continuous Integration on all branches of this repository. 🚨

To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.

Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet. We recommend using Travis CI, but Greenkeeper will work with every other CI service as well.

If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/.

Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please delete the greenkeeper/initial branch in this repository, and then remove and re-add this repository to the Greenkeeper integration’s white list on Github. You'll find this list on your repo or organization’s settings page, under Installed GitHub Apps.
