This datapack developement tool requires another rewrite. Eventually.

I am using the ZDPack and have special question for a data pack, which i am trying to convert to a forge mod.
EXTRACT ME Ships v11 for [1.16.5].zip
I have two directories in this zip. The folder named datapack contains the datapack and is no problem to convert.
The second directory contains map.dat files which have to extract in /saves/New World/data.
Can ZDPack handle this?

As a user of this, my primary concerns when merging packs are

1. How are conflicts handled?
2. Do you get warnings if stuff potentially conflicts? e.g. predicates on item models overlapping.
3. What exactly is this doing other then copying and pasting? How smart is the merge strategy?
4. How much validation happens?

This would be helpful information to document, with examples.
