awesome-slack's Issues

Make The README Awesome

Things that are awesome should look awesome, too. Update the overall look of the README.

  • Add Awesome Slack logo
  • Add CTAs for submitting new items (link to issues)
  • Emojis used throughout (should feel very Slack)

Clean Current Items

There are a lot of items in the list that are no longer relevant to the Slack product/platform or have not been maintained in many years. Many are archived, others are just gone.

Need to clean the list of these items.

To Be Cleaned Criteria

  • The repository or project has not been maintained in two years
  • The repository has been archived
  • The link is no longer working
  • The project is no longer relevant to the Slack platform after certain feature sunsets (RTM, legacy bots, etc.)

Take over maintenance?

Hi there!

This like it was once something really awesome :) I've noticed it's not maintained anymore, and since the last commits, Slack has grown so much.

Would be happy to become a maintainer, update it, and keep it going.

Thoughts?

Still being maintained?

Hello,

I found this list and I wanted to update it with additional information I have learned and discovered while digging into and using Slack (Additional clients, resources, etc). However after I saw all the pull requests that are pending, I wanted to see if this was abandoned and submitting one would be a waste of my time or not.

Just to be clear, I am not expecting everything I submit to be included, I just wanted to know. Thank you.

Change `master` to `main`

Hi, @matiassingers!

I've overhauled the repository, but one thing I think would be great to do would be to rename the main branch from master to main, which has become the preferred nomenclature for the main branch in support of BLM

What are your thoughts?
