Since the content was moved to https://blog.scientific-python.org/, should this repo be archived, w/ a note on the readme to submit new content there?

I wanted to contribute a Post, but the plot does look really bad with the auto created thumbnail (very wide aspect ratio).

How could I explicitly provide a thumbnail for the list view that is not auto-generated from featuredImage or prevent that the featuredImage is show at the top of the post?

We don't have general comments on the blog, but we do have Discourse. Discourse has a way of embedding itself as comments. I did not look much more than that post, but if we're interested in setting it up, I can investigate further.

I am finishing my blog post and wanted to add summary figure at the top and in post "card-body" with the following code:

The imaged indeed appears at the top of the blog post, but it is not visible as in the snippet below. Any fix to that? Or maybe there is some ratio limit?

I did not see a comment section at the blog itself.

The "how to contribute" is missing instructions for creating a fork, which is necessary for everyone who doesn't have write permissions.

I was asked to contribute and am following the steps on How to Contribute. The post looks good locally on hugo and I'm ready to make a pull request. Running the command git commit -am "my message" doesn't add anything and responds with the following message:

nothing added to commit but untracked files present

Manually adding files with `git add content/posts/post-my-post-name' and then committing and pushing gives me the following error:

The current branch post-create-a-tesla-cybertruck-that-drives has no upstream branch.

It advises me to add an upstream branch with

git push --set-upstream origin post-my-post-name

which ultimately denies me permission

remote: Permission to matplotlib/matplotblog.git denied to tdpetrou.

Should I just fork the repo and create a pull request that way?
