Note: This workshop is somewhat outdated. You might want to check out one of my newer workshops.

An intermediate Julia workshop for graduate scientists and engineers which took take place in February 2020 at the University of Oulu in Finnland. Only elementary Julia knowledge was required to follow along.

Coursework: Equals to 2 ETCS points and contains the workshop lectures as well as a small contribution to the Julia ecosystem.

Registration: If you're a student or employee at the University of Oulu you can use the registration form to sign up for the workshop. The maximal number of participants is 50 30 (due to room size limitation) and registrations are handled on a first-come first served basis.

Preparing for the workshop

The workshop uses Julia version 1.3. Go to julialang.org and install the binaries for your operating system.

Apart from Julia itself, the easiest way to get set up for the workshop is to use the WorkshopWizard. Just follow the usage instructions.
