I can't manage to install this dependency on Node 4.x and NPM 3.x.
This is not a direct dependency, it comes from watai.

npm install give me this:

npm ERR! No compatible version found: [email protected]
npm ERR! Valid install targets:
npm ERR! ["0.2.0-alpha.2","0.1.5","0.1.4","0.1.3","0.1.2","0.0.2","0.0.1"]

A little bit of diagnose:

$ npm -v
3.3.4
$ node -v
v4.1.1

What should happen when a file to load is not parsable?

If loading arrays in a cascade, what about cascaded values? Should less-specific arrays be ignored, like primitive values, or their values appended to the already-available values?

This seems like a smaller but similar approach to Hiera.
