Description:
When an error occurs on the server side, either from user error or genuine error, it fails silently on the frontend. This should not happen. An example is when an incorrect password is entered. A popup similar to the modal if nested in App.vue should pop up.

acceptance criteria:
Have errors be shown in a modal that can be closed or "acknowledged". after errors have been acknowlded some other callbackcan be invoked like a page redirect or a logout.
