I'd like to suggest adding loaded event. I modify the angular-terminal.js with one string at the end.

$rootScope.$emit(namespace + '.loaded', t);

To catch event when terminal loaded in my APP.

How can I access the terminal object after directive is initialized? In the example you provided you get access to the terminal object once user inputs a command. But what if I want to access the terminal outside the input event? How can I pass additional options like history, prompt, name during initialization?
