Why the method isConnected() in home.ctp does not work ? :(

I'm using the last CakePHP 2.4.1 (with 2.3.x the same). Connection, reading, delete, listing, db create operations works fine. But save wont work at all and no even an error message. May be there are needed to do some additional actions? May be some schema options?
