Android Device Tree for the Galaxy S 4G - More experimental but may also have fixes not added to the teamacid repo yet. Be cautious when cloning this repo. Sometimes I commit something I shouldn't have and have to rewind.

android_device_samsung_galaxys4gmtd-herring's Introduction

Open source stuff

I have many prized repos pinned below.

I enjoy hacking on Rust ports, parsers, developer tools in Crystal, and fumbling my way through building a point-and-click adventure game.

I'm also fond of compilers, structured concurrency, hacking on Linux device support, poking fun at things, and over-engineering my home network for funsies.

Work stuff

Most recently, I worked-in-place as a staff software engineer for a lineage of primary health care companies (Iora Health -> One Medical / (sort of) Amazon).

I like to work with a lot of different types of software, platforms, languages, and frameworks. Getting to work from the lower levels of the stack all the way up to where the user interacts particularly excites me. I like getting to change my hats every once in a while.

I've worked on embedded systems and operating systems, to product teams building complex systems on Rails and large UI applications in Ember, and sat on infrastructure teams managing production cloud infrastructure.
