x9dr7-tf+ sas 2208 to 2308

I was able to flash following the provided steps and everything was successful, however, after a reboot it gets to booting/initializing the SAS Controller and sticks at Initializing. I was going to disable to SAS controller to get into the BIOS but didn't know if there is any other direction that I can correct my issue.
