Error with latest aframe

I'm seeing the following error when using this library with the latest version of aframe (master not on npm):

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'clearRect' of undefined

If possible it would be nice to support the latest version of aframe because it has WebVR 1.0 support and will likely be publishing a release to npm soon.

Distortion of Texture when using scale / geometry width height

Hi there :)
Thanks for the great work on this component.
I just have one issue with it.

I want to build UI elements like buttons and textareas.
When I use the component on an object, the texture (including the text) gets distorted.

<a-box scale="0.5 0.25 0.5">

Any idea how I could use your component on not-default-scaled objects?
