This repository contains all the files related to the Institute Management System developed for Kings Academy of English. It also consists of other files such as case studies, proposals, prototypes etc.

Update Notice

Note that the project located in the Server directory is deprecated. Refer to the Updated-Server directory instead. The template engine used to render html pages was changed from handlebars to pug, which exposes more features.

Getting Started Guide (For contributors)

1. Download Node exe and install it.
2. Clone this repository into your local computer.
3. Open the Updated-Server directory in a Text Editor (such as Visual Studio Code).
4. Open the terminal (command prompt in Windows) and navigate to the Server directory.
5. Type npm install to restore all the packages required for the project.
6. Once all the packages are installed, type npm start to run the application.
7. Open the web browser and go to localhost:3000 to view the application.
