When to use nginx api gateway fabric or nginx ingress with F5 CIS?

OCP malfunction with EgressIP defined

Hi,

We've configured setup OCP 4.19 with F5 according to the following guide:

• https://github.com/mdditt2000/k8s-bigip-ctlr/tree/main/user_guides/ovn-kubernetes-ha

However, it looks that configuration doesn't work with EgressIP defined.

Is there any workaround for that?

Our cluster is running with version 4.12.50 and network type OVNKubernetes

I want to integrate our OCP cluster with our F5 to expose a non-http service in OpenShift via Service, type Load Balancer.
 
I referred to this link: "https://github.com/f5devcentral/f5-cis-docs/blob/main/user_guides/servicetypelb/README.md" but I didn't get a full understanding of the steps I needed to perform on the F5 side and on the OCP side. 
 
Can you help me with simplified steps I need to perform on the F5 side and on the OCP side?
 

CIS operator set up with nodeport without VXLAN for OpenShift

Hi,

Thanks for the documentation, it has certainly helped to understand CIS operator set up but we're missing few things as we're trying to use Nodeport deployment without VXLAN set up. Would you mind outlining high level steps on the BIG-IP side to use the nodeport approach?

We have user id, BIG-IP partition created based on the documentation, but getting lost after installing the operator and seeing errors with liveness and readyness probes after creating F5BigIpCtlr instance.

I see many different posts on this topic, so it's little confusing to follow since the documentation appears to be incomplete.
