Maven Repository Downloader

The Maven Repository Downloader is a Flask REST API to automate retrieval of artifacts from Maven repositories.

This server is intended to be used as a proxy server for oragnaizations that do not want to expose their development environment to the internet. It can also be used to cache artifacts from Maven repositories to reduce the load on the Maven repository servers.

Installation

• Create a virtual environement with the requirements.txt file

  python -m venv venv

  pip install -r requirements.txt

• Run the application

python app.py

API Reference

Get a artifact from local repository (will download from Maven if not found in local repository)

  GET /local-repo/${filepath}

Parameter	Type	Description
filepath	string	Required. Path to the artifact in the Maven repository
