Zeroes often translate to yarn-overs, so having multiples in a row makes for an undesirable encoding. Would be nice to easily spot large clusters of zeroes so you can rule them out in selection process.

I don't fully remember why this would be nice...maybe to expand/collapse the columns so that you can see what it looks like with different configurations of length-to-heights?

Would like this to be the entry into actually doing something INTERESTING with the app. If click on a grid, go to new page where you can then fiddle with the grid, making it bigger, smaller, colors, whathaveyou.

For now: only allow english characters and validate that nothing else added in input.

The updating takes several clicks to get going. Should just work on first submit of a new word. The workaround is to click the button "use leading zeroes" a few times, then it works.
