Jigsaw aims to be a helpful utility that provides the designers with pre-made useful peripherals + other ip blocks that provides re-usability and agile development of System On Chips.

Dependencies

JDK 8 or newer

We recommend LTS releases Java 8 and Java 11. You can install the JDK as recommended by your operating system, or use the prebuilt binaries from AdoptOpenJDK.

SBT

SBT is the most common built tool in the Scala community. You can download it here.

jigsaw's Issues

Change the PLL to use PLLE2_ADV instead of MMCME2_ADV

During clock generation vivado generates either MMCME2_ADV or PLLE2_ADV IPs. The former is not synthesizable by symbiflow right now and we are using that IP. Need to change to use the PLLE2_ADV IP.

readmemh issue in maskable bram

SBT errors out when providing a memory dump file to the maskable bram.
