We will explore the question of what a bottoms up system of "human equity" looks like using bonded curves to create markets. MVP: Allow users to create bonded curve markets that let people buy personal tokens and redeem them for likes/tweets/retweets/DMs on Twitter. End goal: primitive for identity markets and new banks based on accepting human equity as collateral.

Alternative twist that uses same technology: allow businesses to mint dollars that can be redeemed some other time. What if your local coffee shop could sell you 100 coffees at sixty cents to the dollar (again bonding curve distribution for volume), and you can sell that to your friends via uniswap at 70 cents to the dollar, or redeem it directly through an open law contract. Biggest issue remains local legal and compliance, but everything else is using existing services, 3box, uniswap, authereum etc. and could be stood up in a few days at most.

Help build a next gen DeFi pension system

We're launching a project that has the potential to have significant impact to society. A DeFi alternative to the pension system in Europe, and beyond.

We are following the basic tenets of DeFi, and applying them to a real estate pension fund, to enable new liquidity paradigms for elderly people, currently "underserved" (to say the least) by banks.

Our project is heavily based on data science and decentralized chains, to facilitate a circular economy based on real-estate collateral. We have a working prototype of the pricing engine, and the results show break-through financial performance compared to bank alternatives. We can beat bank's reverse mortgages by as much as 10X.

Besides the pricing engine, we have a couple of customer-facing sites in production.

We're looking for hackers to join the project, and develop our crypto architecture design and vision, and help us kick-start a community.

PART 1 – NotAPaperClip (NAP) VR NFT Swap-Meet

I am working at developing an NFT to NFT swap concept. The basis of the idea is "The Straw Millionaire" tale from Buddhist folklore. In response to his prayers, Kannon the Goddess of mercy tells a poor peasant to pick up the first thing he sees and it will make him a millionaire. He picks up a straw, he then swaps the straw for a... and so forth until he becomes a millionaire. There is a similar story from 2005 in the US where a guy swaps one red paperclip for a pen... a Kiss concert... and ends up with a house.

One could argue that many NFTs have little more value than a straw, meanwhile as the value of ETH increases people may be reluctant to exchange ETH for a less secure in value NFT. However people do love to trade and also fantasize about being millionaires. I thought it would be a catchy idea to create a project based around swapping NFTs directly.

This example is pre-populated with a WETH amount but for the Swap-Meet is about NFTs

If for example you were to swap to similar value CryptoVoxel parcels using Opensea you would have to pay 0.025% twice with counter-party risk that's at least 0.15eth, so I would price my participatory NAPv1 NFT at approx 0.3eth

Part 2 – I plan to expand the project

For the participant NFT I have adopted Magritte's surrealist trope "Ceci n'est pas un pipe" that a painting of a thing is not the thing. I love that the painting is called "The treachery of images”, a play on the absurdity of tokenisation; that indeed NFTs are a nothing. It is unlikely anyone will become a millionaire by swapping NFTS, but we can dream and we can has a leaderboard, perhaps along the lines of Andrew Paker's nasty virus https://anallergytoanalogy.github.io/pathogen/

I wish to develop a game model. A dual token system. You begin the game by receiving* the NotAPaperclip V2 ERC721 token, you find an NFT you want to swap for (it could be an NFT you hold in another wallet) at the tx event the NAP token contract generates a “marker/participant token” in your wallet and you receive your first token in the swap chain to this wallet address. The Marker token is a non-tradable token (though it will have a burning mechanism in the contract). The dApp will log all the subsequent NFT to NFT trades from this initial trade (made from this wallet addy). A swap for ETH would be cashing out of the game. Rank on the Leaderboard is established through having the longest chain of swaps from the original NotAPaperclip V2. A value of cash-out leaderboard could also be maintained.

The leaderboard is gameable with people dog-fooding their chain, just as wash trades occur in the NFT market, but as all tx are transparent and the result is purely bragging rights, this is not a big issue.

There will not be Lambos, I believe this project will stimulate increased liquidity in NFT collection economy and consequently increase the value of NFTs. Outside the NAP project it will also promote NFT to NFT swap trades, so that for example CryptoVoxel parcel owners can secure adjoining blocks trustlessly.

I first got into Ethereum in 2018 as a friend of mine wanted to do a blockchain meetup and I helped to organize it, I was currently working on a prototype for a Stellar app and after the meetup, I was so impressed by the concepts of Smart contracts that got me hooked.

I love the idea of virtual hackathons as they are accessible enough for people that can't travel and help hackers to explore new ideas or projects. I know that Dragon Quest will be an amazing experience.

Idea description

There is no proper way to handle decentralized notifications. For example, on Affogato I needed to notify token holders that the redeem was available. Asking users for phone or email removes privacy.

I want to build a standard protocol that allows users to send notifications to addresses and to be so useful that it would be integrated into wallets. I fell this can be done with a DAO to manage certain parameters I want to implement later.

Pitch it!

Whilst stable coins such as as DAI are great for many reasons, many purchasers would still prefer to transact in fiat and/or my credit card because of the legal protections available for fiat transactions, such as transaction reversals in the event of fraud (which most credit card companies offer) or the use of small claim courts. With regards to COV19 specifically, we will likely see many scams emerge from malicious groups trying to take advantage of the situation and fraudulently misrepresent the use of donations or product offerings.

AraToken may offer a potential solution. Instead of choosing to make a donation or purchase in DAI, instead a legally assured backed equivalent of DAI may be used, integrated with both an escrow and online dispute resolution system.

Below is an example of how this might work:

• John decides to purchase 10,000 face protection masks for his local community from online Supplier Y. The cost of this purchase is 10k DAI, equivalent to 10k Aratokens.
• 10k Aratokens are transferred into an escrow smart contract and held in escrow for 14 days.
• John has 14 days to raise an online dispute if for whatever reason believes Supplier Y is fraudulent, he has not received the masks or they are not to the agreed quality standard.
  -If the arbitrators vote in John's favour, the 10k Aratokens, less the arbitration cost which could be say 1% of the transaction value, so $10, would be returned to John.
• If after 14 days, no disputes are raised, the 10k Aratokens are automatically released from escrow and transferred to Supplier Y.

Nobody has to sign any legal contracts to benefit from it, all they need to do is pay in AraToken.

Besides from being useful for the collection of funds for COV19, AraToken could also be useful for virtually every other B2B or B2C online transaction. It's stable, just like DAI, offers interest, just like DAI, and has built in legal protection in case things don't go to plan.

It also provides for a clear business model whereby income can be generated as a % of the transaction value to cover arbitration costs, that scale in line with the transaction amount. Moreover, funds held in the escrow could generate interest which could be also be utilised to provide relief funds for COV19.

NB: Further research needs to be undertaken to determine the technical feasibility of the above approach.

Idea: The Dai HODL Factory!

My mission: to make HODL a noun! The idea is simple- you pay 100 Dai to mint an NFT called a HODL. The Dai is converted to [cDai or rDai or Chai] and immediately starts earning you interest. Your Dai, and the accumulated interest is locked in the contract for at least a year. After a year, you can destroy the NFT and get the 100 Dai back, as well as the accumulated interest.

These HODLs would make great little gifts, prizes (such as hackathon prizes!) or collectibles, and would look great in any ERC721 wallet!

I propose that there are two different types of HODL that can be created. A regular HODL, and a Charity HODL, where you do not get the interest, instead the interest goes to a charity (i.e. using rDai).

Stretch goal: a 'ponzi HODL' where some of the interest on your HODL goes to owners of HODLs that were minted before yours. But you can still always get back your original 100 Dai- the world's first "no loss" ponzi!

With this project, you can finally hodl a HODL :)

Estonia DAO is a fun experiment that will enable Estonia e-residents to:
