File/Folder Checking

Handle errors when trying to load a file/folder that isn't appropriate without crashing

dot in folder name causes crash

if pathname of directory has a period in it (Stratos.DCTOSS) it removes the dot and is unable to load the file.

Add persistent file checking

Point to a folder where every few s the folder is checked for new files. Would streamline beamtimes where files could be dropped into folder and then just pop up.

Easy particle number view in filelist

Number of particles is an important parameter. Should add something which shows numparticles alongside the file list, to easily check.

Should be able to add files without closing and reopening

Closing and restarting to add more files isn't ideal.

Thresholding

Particle thresholding with Otsu's method is difficult for noisy samples, more complex thresholding methods exist. Implement a new thresholding option maybe better background subtraction?

Waitbar behavior should be improved

Waitbar doesn't account for "FindingTotGradAngle" which takes a decent amount of time. Looks frozen until it works, waitbar improvement would fix
