Should .search-results-page be removed due to the existence of .cardview-page? The search results page is an almost exact replica of the cardview page. Here are the differences:

1. The main tag starts at row 4 in .search-results-page to accommodate .lead-image
2. Cards rendered in .search-results-page on a landscape screen take columns 2-4 rather than stretching to fill the width of the screen

Behavior number one represents a nonsensical default that was created in order to make sources-bot's search page graphs work. If a search system needs to display an un-bordered graph before search result cards it can put the graph in a .non-card (an un-bordered card that shares the background color of the rest of the window).
