compliancecxe's Issues

Inaccuracy in DLM DAG regarding Retention Policices

In the DLM DAG, Advanced section. The following is stated:

_An advanced retention policy configuration is more suited for those that have a need to apply it based on what is in the content to target specific documents, such as sensitive information.

  • Choose to Use Advanced Retention Settings. You can now either apply to content based on sensitive information present in the item using one of the built-in or custom sensitive information types (SITs), or you can apply to content that contains specific words or phrases.
  • The choice to use the advanced settings above is going to limit the locations that you have as options to Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive. It will also default the Exchange location to include All. This cannot be changed._

The first bullet is true for Retention Labels and Records Labels, but not Retention Policies.

My kingdom for a Search function

Some Compliance folks aren't super fluent on all the good guidance in the Purview one stop shop provides, but revisit the site when they need to confirm an understanding or look for updated information. Being able to search for what they know they're looking for, in a manner beyond Ctrl+F, would be an idea addition. Thanks in advance.

Step 2 Aashish feedback

  • fix typo: "The second step in preparing your migration to built-in labeling from AIP Add-in is to verify that all its users are configured and deployed with supported versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook."
  • 2nd bullet in checklist: clarify requirement.
  • last bullet checklist: unnecessary 4th bullet. Merge recommendations
  • Combine fasttrack + office deployment team
