Power CAT

We are the Power Customer Advisory Team (Power CAT), part of the Microsoft Power Platform engineering team at Microsoft. We work with a specific group of key enterprise customers and do whatever it takes to ensure their success with Power Platform. We are a diverse group of technical architects, community managers, program managers, developers, and content creators, located all over the world, all sharing a deep passion for the possibilities of low-code.

Our charter includes engaging with key enterprise customers and guiding their platform implementation to success, sharing with the world what we learn from our engagements with customers in guidance and tools, and celebrating the success of our customers via compelling customer stories.

This repository contains the Power CAT website at https://microsoft.github.io/powercat.

Contributing

This project welcomes contributions and suggestions. Most contributions require you to agree to a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) declaring that you have the right to, and actually do, grant us the rights to use your contribution. For details, visit https://cla.opensource.microsoft.com.

powercat's Issues

Make Homepage more dynamic

Is it possible to put the latest "news" (latest tools release, video, upcoming office hours) on the home page to keep it fresh/dynamic?

Create issue templates

In our other repos, we make it easier for users to create the right kind of issue with templates. Basically, prepopulates labels based on bug, question, enhancement, etc. Also provides some general structure to the issue to help us make it actionable.

Request-a-CAT

Add a link to a form (MS Forms?) to request a CAT speaker for your event

[BUG] Images lack alt text

The images are missing ALT text, and are thus not accessible

POWER CAT Logo cut off on mobile device.

Describe the bug
When viewing the site on a phone screen, the Power CAT logo gets cut off.

To Reproduce
Navigate to site with a phone

Expected behavior
Power CAT logo resizes to screen width to align with responsiveness of the other content

[BUG] "Power Platform Customer Advisory Team" should be "Power Customer Advisory Team"

Describe the bug
Since our team doesn't formally cover Power BI and there is a Power BI CAT team, we don't refer to ourselves with "Power Platform". That's why it's just Power CAT.

Expected behavior
At a minimum, we should remove "Platform". If we want, we can also clarify that we aren't the primary Power BI CAT team.

It would be great if people could easily discover our tools office hours so they can participate.
