Prohibit backward movement
A snake can only move in three directions. Moving backwards should not be allowed
Wall disappearance
Port the snake on the other side of the map when reaching the borders

broccoli placement
The broccoli placement is in most cases in the lower triangular of the map. The randomness should cover the hole map
