gulp-angular-templatecache started by gulp.watch does not write anything about gulp-angular-templatecache

This plugin works fine with gulp.watch. 5000 monthly downloads and only you run into issues with it makes me believe your setup is off. Make sure to double-check your paths, the watch and task and see if you've made an error somewhere.

Your gulp.watch is defined inside a gulp task, right? Also, try removing all the options and call NGTemplatize with the defaults to see if there's an error in your base-fn.

I will take a look and see what I can figure out.

The thing works fine outside the watch called directly or as part of a larger task, the watch fires and I get a started/finished and gulp-debug shows the files being emit'd

Anyway I will pull out the base function and see what happens

Nothing to do with my setup as I suspected but I don't think it has anything to do with your plugin either.

For some reason on windows 8.1 the file is being written ( watching it on a driver monitor ) but the OS is not firing a change event unless the watcher is terminated, well it does but quite a bit later than it should be.

On linux and mac it all works as expected. This may be a windoze glitch or a gaze glitch, I will go ahead and close this and re-open if I think there is anything to be done on your end
