Hi there! It seems almost identical to #6 - had you read that issue? There's a lot of context and the discussion of potential solutions.

@miketheman ah, I had missed that issue! I think my case is slightly different as I'm not using anything special such as asynctest or pytest-asyncio, but the solution will probably be the same: whitelisting certain socket accesses when they come from asyncio code. Not sure if there's a non-hacky way to do this, though :'(

Closing, as we've got a patch that enables using the plugin with asyncio, using an option. Will be releasing soon!
